Intersectional Feminist Research Colloquium

The colloquium is aimed at an informed academic and personal exchange. We seek to discuss and disseminate work that takes up and advances feminist interventions of a wide variety, including feminist, trans, and queer theories, intersectional theories, postcolonial and decolonial theories, posthumanist work and ecofeminist theories among other studies of inequality. The overarching aim is to meet, create relationships with fellow academics, through reading each other’s’ (as well as other academics’) works and making sense of it for ourselves and our research. In this, participants are welcome to share their academic ideas and lived experiences.

Suggestions of published texts by other authors or works-in-progress written by colloquium members, are very welcome.

The Colloquium exists since 2020 and consists of two collective reading sessions and two sessions with invited speakers each semester. It is currently run by Patricia Purtschert and Anukriti Dixit.

Among the guests were Zishan Ugurlu, Madeleine Pape,  Amal Shahid, Philipa Birago Akuoko, Christa Wirth, Pauline Milani and Audrey Bonvin, Claire Blaser, Izabel Barros, Alexandra Portmann, and Elize Mazadiego.
